Calculators. The curve, protein and other calculators run in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us unless you sign in or submit a form.
Appeal letter builder. The appeal letter builder on the insurance-denied page sorts your denial and builds the letters in your browser. The denial wording you paste, your name, health details, plan, prescriber, dates and reference number are not sent to us or anyone else, not saved in your browser or an account, and not put in the page address; Download .txt makes the file in your browser. Our analytics count only fixed events: that the tool was started, which of the six denial-reason letters (a to f) was picked, that letters were made, copied, printed or downloaded, and clicks to the cash-price routes. None of them carries anything you typed.
Account (optional). If you sign in with Google we receive your Google account ID, email address and name, and we store the curve settings, weigh-ins and 16-week maintain plan (stop date, stop weight and warning line) you enter. We use this only to show you your own data and, if you opt in, to email you. We do not sell or share it. You can delete a weigh-in at any time from your account page; to delete your whole account, email us and we will remove it within 7 days.
Email list (optional). If you subscribe, what you submit is stored with our email provider (Kit) and used only to send the emails you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link. What each form sends to Kit:
Kit also records the usual technical details of a sign-up (such as time and IP address) under its own privacy policy.
The questions. Your answers to the plan questions (insurance, state, budget, preference and the optional extras) are worked out in your browser. They appear in the page address after the # so you can bookmark your result; that part of the address is not sent to us or to our analytics. Page-view and click counts for the tool record only that a question or a result was reached, never an answer. Optional extras appear only when a matching partner service is available, and the answers to their short follow-up quizzes are never sent to us.
"Email me my plan" (optional). If you ask for your plan by email we store, in our database on Cloudflare: your email address, your answers to the main plan questions (never an extra marked sensitive), the time you signed up and confirmed, and the page you signed up on. We use them only to email you your plan and, when a provider in your plan lowers its price, an alert (at most one a week). Nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link in the first email (double opt-in). The emails are sent by our email provider, Resend, which processes your address to deliver them. We do not ask for or store any health details beyond those plan answers, and we never sell, rent or share your email address or answers.
Unsubscribing. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe we delete your stored answers and keep only your email address marked as unsubscribed, so you are not emailed again. To have the address deleted too, email hello@weighweekly.com.
Questions form (optional). Questions you send are delivered to us by Formspree and kept in our inbox. If we turn a question into a page, nothing that identifies you is published.
We use GoatCounter and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which count page views and button clicks without personal identifiers, advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Signing in sets one cookie (ww_s) that keeps you logged in for up to a year; signing out removes it. There are no advertising cookies.
Some product links go to Amazon or telehealth providers. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Weights and medication settings you store are health-related. They are kept on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States, protected by your Google login, and never combined with data from anywhere else. This site is informational and is not medical advice.
You can see and delete your stored data from your account page, and you can ask us to export or erase everything by email. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA; we honor them on request.
